  • Far superior component quality compared to any and all grills I have had in the past. Grill took about two hours to assemble.>>>t.co/KnNu3DRluL    I have now been using it for two months. the burner guards accomplish the same thing. Fantastic design. BTU's are sufficient to put a good sear on a steak.

  • A full packer and a Traeger – a match made in heaven!  We did a video where we cooked two 17 pounders.  Took about 15 hours and they were amazing!

  • 7 hours at 225 to get to internal temp of 204. Not in a million years would that happen.

  • Traeger, how is this done in 7 hours? Is it because of the wrap & stock? I've had one on my Jr. for 12 hours and it wasn't yet tender. Just curious, seems very short time relative to most recipe's out there.

  • Why not avoid a mess and use a disposable (I reuse mine) aluminum foil roasting pan tightly covered with foil? I smoke mine at 180° for 13 hours, pan and foil, back in at 240° until point and flat both reach 210° (2-3 hours), then towel and in cooler until ready to eat. Delicious. I use a Dalmatian rub, 50/50 salt and course ground pepper. I want the meat to be the main event, not the rub. Your end result looks great!
