Can I soak the fish in salt before I cook to get rid of fishy smell? Or Saba suppose to smell fishy before cooking, then the fishy smell goes away?
You should never cook in aluminum only use it for serving or converting

I do this recipe in the way it's described on the packets of mackerel I buy at my local Korean store. I dredge the fillets in cornstarch, then put them on an aluminum foil sheet inside a baking pan. I then broil until done, flipping the fish once.

since she is using a frying pan why dont she just fry directly on it? why the hassle to put aluminion foil on the pan when she not using oven already?

If saba/mackerel is too fishy for you,this is great using (skin on) salmon fillets.
You need to oil the fish before you place it on pan or it will stick. The video doesn't tell you this. The skin came off, and I was very disappointed. Lesson learned.

That foil is a bad idea, the fish sticks to it and when you try to remove it, small pieces of foil rips off.
