  • I have cut out making pork chops all together because they are hard to keep moist and flavorful, but I going to try this recipe and get a meat thermometer. I haven’t had a pork chop since I lived at home with my parents and my mom is the only person that cooked them properly. She did her best to try and help me get it right…nope. I been with my husband for 28 years and I made pork chops maybe 3 times, my children have never had any and they live on their own. I’m going to surprise him with this. ???Thanks

  • She reminds me of this black lady named tara I met in when I worked at target. She talked with her hands a lot and was sassy.

  • It's the snacking while you're cooking that makes you gain weight.

  • In your written recipe it says one tablespoon mirin, buy you said two tablespoons.

  • I put the meat in the fridge but bc of alot of butter the marinating hardened. Is it ok? I feel like it's not gonna marinate the meat at all ?

  • Would it be ok to add green onions and gochu garu into the miso butter? Or would it be overpowering?

  • I’m making the miso butter but I’m using it for salmon this time. I made the marinade yesterday. I can’t wait to it out when I get home from work. I will definitely make the grilled pork chops soon too.

  • Miso happy to see a recipe like this. Summer comes around and Koryo-nudergirl provided some pretty good inspiration. Miso in the mood to experiment and make a new version of the boring old salt n pepper pork chops my family like.

  • This video just went up a few days ago, and I had to make it. I have the pork marinating in the fridge, I can't wait for dinner tomorrow ??? I tasted the marinate before adding the pork…. It is so flavorful!

  • I made a version of this tonight. I was doing this on the fly, so I had to improvise some. I didn't have time to marinate the meat (I used a Porterhouse steak), so I basically took the marinade recipe and the miso butter recipe and made it into one miso butter sauce thing. Oh.my.heavens! It was ridiculously delicious!
I tossed the broccoli in it before grilling it, slathered it on the corn after grilling that (squeezed a little lime over it too), and brushed the steak with it before and after.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing! I have only recently come across your channel, and I absolutely love it.
WARNING! This is addictive. If you make this, you may end up licking off every single thing that touched the butter (including, but not limited to spoons, forks, serving utensils, plates, bowls, pot it was made in, spatula used to scrape out said pot, uneaten broccoli stems, cornless cobs that sat in the plate drippings, and fingers–countless times).

  • At first, I didn’t realize she was saying meat thermometer! Hahaha…I heard something like telometer and was like what is a telometer? Hahaha…then to top it off…when she said the URL of pork.org.…when she spelled O-R-G, I thought…did she just say orgy? Hahaha
