Lemon Garlic Grilling Marinade Recipe ~ Noreen's Kitchen

Here is a delicious lemon and garlic marinade that is perfect for summer grilling season. This marinade is appropriate for pork chops as I have grilled in this video or chicken, or even fish. However if you do fish, do not marinate for more than 15 minutes or the fish will begin to cook from the acid in the lemon juice.

Simple and delicious and fast. This can be a quick or a slow marinade depending on how much time you have. I only let my chops sit for 15 or 20 minutes but you can easily do this overnight for the next day and it will be even more delicious.

I hope you give this a try and I hope you love it!

Happy Eating!

  • Any herbs you have (the more you use the more you want…just for variety) we have lots of Savory at the moment) more of than using fresh we dry.  We powder and use to sprinkle over soups, salads, stews.  It's amazing how a little schprinkle of a different herb can add oomph to a dish.  I tried this garlic/lemon marinade and it's the bomg!  I also array my Szeged and use one on one chop or chicken part and something else on the next!

  • This marinade was great!  I grilled the pork chops for the 1st time today and it worked! Also made your recipe for the no bake cream cake which was also fantastic even though i forgot to buy the pie filling.

  • Oh my!!!  That marinade looks so delish, I'll bet the aroma is delightful.  Another great idea for my recipe holder.  At times my daughter will ask, "Asked does Noreen have a recipe for a marinade?"  I can say "yes!" Thanks for all you do for us, Noreen.   🙂

  • This sounds and looks delicious.  Perhaps we'll use this marinade this weekend as we like to grill out a lot.  This also helps keep the heat out of the kitchen on this hot blistery days.  Thanks for the recipe and stay "cool". Have a safe 4th of July.

  • Oh, yum!  This is exactly what I've been looking for!  And I don't grill either (for reasons that shall be unnamed but that are probably similar to yours, Noreen!), but my 13yo son is learning and loves it, so I've got that going for me.  On my menu for this VERY HOT weekend, for sure!  Happy 4th!
