Grilled Lobster Tail Recipe with Garlic Butter (2018)



Grilled Lobster tails are so good! They are very easy to make also. In this Grilled Lobster Tail Recipe video, I teach you how to make them so that you don’t overcook them. I will also teach you a delicious garlic butter glaze that will set them off and make for a perfect pairing for your steak.

Grill Lobster tails till they reach an internal temp of 140 degrees baste thought the cook with the Garlic Butter.

Garlic Butter recipe
1.5 sticks of unsalted butter
2 lemons
2 garlic cloves
pinch of cayenne
hald a handfull of parsley
salt
pepper

  • What I like most IS… other than the lobster, there isn’t anything fancy in this vid. Just a basic grill! Not a 1,000 or 400 $ grills here! And yet you put together a very detailed easy to follow video. Thank you for that!

  • If you roll the tail on it's side, and press down until you hear a "crack," the shell will release from the meat and it becomes really easy to pull the meat from the shell and sit it on top.

  • I've never eaten lobster before. What can you compare it to by taste? Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford it and eat it. Being on a fixed income makes it hard LOL.

  • Use the same season on some salmon partially wrapped in foil. Put some wood chips in there and enjoy smoked grilled salmon with the lobster tails.

  • I pulled this off last night for guests next to accompanying filet mignon and it came out perfect – thank you! I can say this is probably the best instructional video for grilling lobster out there as it does a great job at covering the important details. And I never even thought about making lemon-butter like this – what a great use for the side burner while the surf-n-turf is on the (gas) grill! I have grilled lobster "the opposite way" – cutting away the membrane and leaving it in the shell, which puts the flesh in direct contact with the grill, but for presentation I like this better. My only tip on not breaking the shell – while opening it up after cutting it with shears use your fingers to compress both sides of the shell together underneath it while you are using your thumbs to separate the topside of the shell. Thanks for the great video!

  • I think that lobster need 2 min in the original position and finish 1 min with the meat directly over grill. Nice and smart recipe, congratulations men.
