I have about an hour to go on my first rack of Loin Ribs on a gas grill. I'm an amateur, really appreciate your video and I will be buying your rub!
Hopefully mine will turn out, had to sub a few ingredients!
Thanks again for the Vid!
Hiw can i get a try of your rub
Did these a few weeks back, absolutely amazing. Thanks a lot!
A God amongst men! I've been watching through all your vids wishing I had a Big Green Egg or something similar instead of just my propane grill. Now this one video has opened up a whole world of possibilities I cant wait to get started, thanks so much my man!
Thank You, will i be able to pull the bone off?!?
To make bbq sandwich
Wanted to try this but margarine is so bad for you. What can I replace it with??
Hey. Trying your method. I have a 4 burner bbq. The rack furthest away from the single burner was still cold after two hours. Is my bbq just not upto it?
OMGoodness I love you and your wife….i only have an electric weber but it doesn't stop me from cooking the stuff you make….Thanks again for all the GR8 recipes
Trying this today. I watched several of your videos this week, appreciate the knowledge!
Rip headphones
This looks great!!! I know it's sacrilege but I like a well seasoned parboil until you get some pull back on the bones. Then binder and The BBQ Rub, smoke indirect (pecan and apple) 1/2 hour and then kick up the smoke one last time and paint and sear direct with a little bbq sauce, thinned out with some duck sauce for. You can have knock out ribs in an hour, hour in a half tops!
Parkay margarine? Are shittin' me? Margarine is only a few molecules away from plastic. You had up until there. Yech!!!
Being this guy’s next door neighbor would be amazing. BBQ smells on a regular basis.
Great video and will use the directions. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Malcom, great video. I have made these ribs twice now. They turn out great both times. The only question I have is they do not fall off the bone. I tried leaving in the foil half hour more but no change. Any tips on what I can do next time? Thanks
Disregard other similar YouTube videos, those amateurs aren't as fat and therefore don't know what the hell they're talking about.
This is a great video, I almost have to assume Malcolm cooks the ribs with wholesomeness alone. Currently trying to make this as I type my comment.
Gah that high pitched noise
Want a little trick nobody does? To make the ribs super tender and juicy ……I know this sounds crazy but before you season them for the grill, boil them for about 15 minutes. Yep, boil them in a stock pot. Remove them and put them on the counter to cool back down. Then season as you normally, wrap in foil then grill/smoke or whatever until done. Make sure to remove the film off the back and poke with a fork before cooking. This process cuts down on the overall cooking time and they don't get dry at all. Some of the carnivores around here say they are too tender because the like to naw on the bone. Not me. I want them falling apart. I actually put bacon grease in the foil pack with onion halves so they continue to steam with the bacon onion juice. No corn syrup BBQ sauce needed at all….in fact, I would say that ruins it. The water and spices and fat create the perfect sauce for itself in the foil pack. Also, lots of hickory and pecan on the heat for a good infuse of smoke into the self made sauce.
I have a Weber propane grill with a smoker attachment, but I also make up my own smoke boxes using small tinfoil pan filled with wet wood chips covered in foil, poke a hole or three in the top foil adds a good wood taste. Or even just a foil envelope of wet wood chips with a hole poked in it. been using them for years.
Any of those otehr f'''' grilles. Keep it real. 🙂
Man i made ribs this way last night. Thank so much for the awsome info. I had to sell my smoker grill when I moved. The ribs I made yesterday were the hot of the party. Cheers
I love how this guy doesn’t knock people down who use gas grills, but instead gives helpful advice to them..he also shows that he is a real bbq master.. because he can use anything.!…. he can probably make some bomb ass ribs using a microwave.
Malcolm..if you know what’s good for yah…you better make them dry rub ribs for rachelle….or else..lol..love ya man..
Can someone tell me the name of the sugar that was used?
came out nice Malcom!! thanks!!

Any one else think this guy looks like boogie2988????

Overweight guy with a goatee or beard…yep he knows how to season and smoke some red meat.
Would it have been bad to reload the smoker tube and keep it smoking the whole time the ribs were cooking ? It appeared that you only loaded it the one time and then it was just indirect cooking and no longer smoking the ribs… I'm just curious before I try it myself , thanks for the great video ?
Just got into grilling I’m so happy I’ll be able to do some ribs on the gas grill. That ending made my mouth water.
Thanks so much for this clear and helpful video!! I made the best ribs of my life using your technique!
I've used this exact method every time since watching this video. I've got a 2 burner Weber and the ribs come out GREAT every time. Gonna do 3 racks for friends tonight! Thanks Malcom!
Ty so much really helped me out
I’ve been looking for a way to smoke ribs or my gas grill. I just saw this video an want to say it is informative and easy to understand. I’m going to give this a try and thank you for doing this.
Thanks for this. I have a webber 22.5 for smokeing needs but my sister is giving me her gas grill and wanted to see what can be done with it
Is Rochelle the camera man
What were the brands of sauce , rubs and salt(?) you used?
I've been watching your videos for a while now, and funny today (4th July '19) I happened to be doing some ribs in my oven since I can't have a smoker in my apt. and just bump into this video, mid way into my cooking. As always excellent vid. and thanks for remembering about us less fortunate ones who have to improvise a bit so we can enjoy your awesome recipes ????
So I tried this method as I do not have a smoker. First thing was I used baby backs instead of st louis ribs. So the flavor came out great. Ribs were cooked well. THe only thing was, I didnt get the render and reduction like in your video. I had the grill between 240-260 the whole time. After the 2 1/2 hours with the smoke, they were still not close to done. So I took them off and wrapped them in the foil. After 2 more hours they still were not done. Had to cook an additional hour and I never got that reduction. I used the grill thermometer and another bbq thermometer I use. Not sure why I didnt get that reduction and fat render. But all in all they turned out really good.
Thanks heaps buddy here in Australia it’s cheaper to go with gas then a smoker
I accidentally tried to take a bite of my phone @ 14:45. OOPS
I decided it would just be easier to pour BBQ sauce in my mouth and then lick the screen @ 16:00.
