What flavor pellets did you use?
This would be good with Montreal chicken rub
I always wonder where these outdoor grilling people live to not have any flies or mosquitoes harassing them while preparing and cooking. Obviously, not here in Houston, TX.
I would never talk bad about any smoker. The Treager you cooked the chicken with definitely did a fine job. I will try your recipe on a smoker I just purchased. Hope mine comes out looking as delicious as yours. I almost went with Treager, but, after a month of research, went with a "Rec-Tec." The 10 gauge stainless, superior computer components and the fact the owners cell phone numbers are provided 24/7, shifted my future grilling to them.
Again, most smokers work well. I called one of the owners at 2am. He solved my mess-up within seconds. Since then, it's set the temp, shut the lid and forget about it. What a dream! The actual thickness and stainless was the diff maker. No worries on rust, ever! The 10 gauge (slightly under) stainless retains heat so well. Therefore, the unit does not need to work and burn out its blower. Lastly, the hopper is 40lbs (20lbs each side). Other smokers have a 20lb hopper, total. Treager, great grill, Rec-Tec, read about it. 🐂
Thank u for the video!
Looks delicious!
I too love my Traeger. They are fantastic!
This was the first recipe we tried, worked PERFECTLY. The best chicken we have ever had. Easy to do (except the patience to wait).
Doesn't work. Seasoned my chicken and it got too dark on the outside and not done on the inside. Skip this one is my advice
This made some really fantastic chicken – that said, the extra ten minutes charred the skin in places. If you're making this recipe, check the bird around 50-60 minutes.
My dad bought one of these about 7-8 months ago and wouldn't stop raving about it. Everything he made on it tasted awesome, so I had to check it out. My mom and dad moved over seas this summer so I got to look after the grill, and I can see why he loved it so much. Not only do the results taste amazing, but it's so easy to use.
What type of pellets are best with chicken. Going to look at a Traeger this weekend…hopefully coming home with one.
Just got done butchering 25 chickens. Will try this for sure
Always gotta be somebody out there bitching about something back in the 70's we didn't even wash our hands at all wipe the bottle of put it in the cabinet eat some good ass chicken get her done.
So, it's ok to handle raw chicken without gloves and touch your seasoning bottle? If this is an official TRAEGER video, you might want to promote safety. Also, whether or not it is true, it appears that the same cutting board as the raw chicken was being cut onis being used to cut the cooked chicken. Just safety observations from my standpoint not criticizing. I'd hate for someone to get ill and blame it on you because they followed these steps exactly.
My chicken comes out the same way! there is nothing like a Traeger Grill!
Made this last night, Possibly the best chicken i have ever had, definitely the juiciest.
