400 Calorie Grilled Cheese as Buns Burger!

Grilled Cheese as Buns Burger Recipe!

Macros for each Grilled Cheese as Buns Burger:
378 Cals, 26g Carbs, 11g Fat, 43g Protein!

Ingredients (Makes 3):
12 Slices Bread of your Choice (I used 45 Cal Sara Lee Bread)
126g Light Shredded Cheese
16oz 96/4 Lean Ground Beef
Sea Salt
Garlic Powder

Directions:
1.) Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Slice off all the crust of your bread. Remember the macros on bread will lower because you cut off the crust. Mine changed from 2 slices of bread 1.5 so keep that in mind.
2.) Line an oven safe pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Add 6 slices of bread to the pan and add 21g of your light shredded cheese to each. Add your top piece of bread to each and press them down.
3.) Spray tops with non stick cooking spray and then sprinkle garlic powder on top for that texas toast vibe! Add to the oven for 8-10 minutes till bread is golden.
4.) While those are baking, preheat a stove top pan to a 7/10 heat. Season your ground beef with sea salt and garlic powder and split into 3 equal sized patties. Add to the stove top pan and cook to desired level of doneness.
5.) Once all is ready, put together your grilled cheese as buns burger and enjoy!

  • My favorite burger of all time I get at my local diner. It's got fried onion straws on it, bbq sauce, and cheddar cheese. I always add pickles and mayo to it. Back in the day I used to pair it with a Strawberry milkshake and disco fries. Disco fries are fries with brown gravy and melted mozzarella on top.

  • My favorite burger was from when I worked at a little family run cafe. They would take the cinnamon rolls left at the end of the night and drop them on the grill with butter, then put a weight on top to smash it down and get the sugar to caramelize. Next they put on a burger patty and two thick slices of freshly sliced cheddar cheese. It was literal heaven, diabetes, but heaven.
