I actually tried this. I had to tweak it a bit though due to not having some of the ingredients. I used onion power instead of chives, I used garlic power instead of cloved garlic, I skipped the chili pepper flakes but I did use some pepper jack cheese I had that needed to be used up. I did everything else including the mayo and honey. I baked this rather than grilled too. My family LOVED this recipe. They even ate the leftover bread the next day cold (its good heated up in the microwave the next day too). To all those saying 'pass on the mayo', it actually makes the melted cheese seem creamer. Plus the honey gave it the little extra boost to enhance the flavor. Many chefs will tell you to add a hint of sugar to your savory foods to enhance the flavor; just like when you add salt to your desserts. I will be making this again. Thank you! 👍
