RECIPES:
SAVORY MARINADE
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice fresh squeezed from 1/2 lemon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp seasoned salt
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp fresh thyme
Instructions:
*Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir well.
*Place protein in a zip lock bag and pour the marinade over top, seal, mix to coat.
*Marinade for at least 30 minutes and up to one day.
TO FREEZE:
After sealing, place in the freezer, laying it flat. Thaw in fridge before cooking.
GREEK YOGURT MARINADE:
1 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp oregano
zest of 1 lemon
juice of half of a lemon
1/2 tsp salt
fresh cracked pepper to taste
1/4 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
*Place protein in a ziplock freezer bag.
*Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl, whisk well.
*Pour over the top of the protein. Marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day.
FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS:
*After sealing bag, lay flat in the freezer.
When ready to use, thaw in the refrigerator.
BALSAMIC MARINADE:
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
*Place protein in a ziplock bag.
*Combine garlic, oil, vinegar, sweetener, rosemary, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Pour over pork. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
*Freezer Instructions~ After sealing, lay flat to freeze. Thaw in the refrigerator before cooking.
