Cooking Instructions:
Prep the Pork Ribs – Clean and trim the excess membrane and fat around the pork ribs. Do leave some fat for taste. Coat pork ribs with Indian black salt.
Bake Ribs – Place the pork ribs on a baking tray and pour 2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar. Cover it tightly with foil and bake it for 75 mins in 350 Degree F heat.
Prepare the Indian Style BBQ Sauce – Empty the tamarind and date chutney in a saucepan and mix it well with 1/2 jar of dry garlic chutney. Cook them on low for 15 mins until the ingredients get well integrated into a thick sauce.
Finish the Pork Ribs on the Grill with Indian Style BBQ Sauce:
Sear the ribs on both sides on the grill until it develops brown color. The ribs are mostly cooked by this time and should get seared quickly.
Apply a coat of Indian Style BBQ sauce and continue to cook it. Make sure the bbq sauce cooks into the meat. Repeat the process a couple times so there are multiple coats of the sauce.
Give it a final sear to develop a crust which makes for a great mouthfeel.
The bones should simply come off the meat. Enjoy this unique taste of Pork Ribs in Indian Style. The perfect dish for your friends at your next dinner party.
