Popeyes Chicken Sandwich | Copycat Recipes – This is another Copycat video for the infamous, Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. Brine/Marinade Ingredients
2 cups Buttermilk
3 Eggs
1/4 cup Hot Sauce
1 tbsp Kosher Salt
Batter Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Flour
1/2 Cornstarch
1 tbsp Kosher Salt
1 tbsp Creole or Cajun Seasoning
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Paprika (I used smoked paprika)
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
Brioche Buns (Toasted)
1/4 cup Mayo
Sliced Pickles
Cook Chicken until the internal temp reaches 165* F at the thickest part.

I'm 50 and 4 days ago for the first time went to Popeye's for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. I use to love Wendy's chicken sandwiches and people always talk about Popeye's. I liked the consistency in Popeye's chicken sandwiches primarily the no fat. Sometimes Wendy's didn't have a lean chicken breast. Popeye's is a bigger thicker sandwich than Wendy's, more filling. I still like Wendy's and would rank them both as very very good. For years I went to Wendy's drive thru's to order a spicy chicken sandwich. Now because Popeye's is closer by I will be going there.
Soaked my chicken for 2h15m. Comparing 4hrs to 2hrs it's the same. Just saving everybody some time. AB is the truth 🏌️♂️💯🔥
