  • @Chef Tim: Why in the world would you put all that rub on a filet? Isn't a nice filet about enjoying the taste of the meat? High heat oil + Kosher Salt + Black Pepper is what most Chefs in restaurants cook any filet and/or aged steaks. You don't need a 6 ingredient rub on a filet to brown or crust.
