Will I investigate , copy, and make better. One day

  • What's the point of this when it doesn't create power from the fire?

  • The little one doesn’t use a thermo coupler, it’s a thermoelectric generator that converts the thermal energy to electric energy. Anyway, happy to see you guys enjoying both products, as I worked on both (aero/thermal product engineer) during my time at BioLite.

  • They should make a wood stove for indoor use that be a BIG SELLER. In close top and add pipe and door

  • advertised as a smokeless in less than a minute but i see actually takes quite a while until smokeless or relatively that is. also does the power pack have a battery indicator on it?

  • with that kind of airflow this thing must make awesome firepit roasted potatoes if you boil them in water first, wrap them in tinfoil and throw them in there and put the airflow on max.

  • Cooking with soft woods will make your food taste like shit.
Might as well go buy some chicken and throw it straight in the trash.

  • If you got the BioLite Stove that charges itself while burning fuel, could you use a stove to charge the fire pit? Yes I realize it is suggesting buying two of their items, how well could you charge the pit with the stove?

  • I am checking the review because I can get it with the points from my bank so cost isn't that big a deal.

  • No thermocouple? So this is just a fire pit that goes through wood really fast. Seems like an answer looking for a question.

  • Why did they not add a thermo-coupler to this design? That completely ruins the functionality for me especially when I need to charge while camping
