How to grill bacon (without burning it!)
Strips of bacon, bacon-wrapped filet, even bacon-wrapped poppers – all delicious, but all way too easy to burn on the grill. I’m going to show you how to properly grill your bacon without burning it. This method will ALSO help get your poppers crisp the whole way through – yes, even that inner bacon wrap!

Still miss your Aussie accent …💯❤️❤️❤️. But have loved every vid you’ve done!
Pickled jalapeno halves are the way to go when I do poppers. It lacks the crunch of a fresh pepper but the punch of the spicy pickling solution works great with the salty bacon. I'm surely gonna try them on the grill next time. I bet the hint of smoke takes them to the next level. Thanks for this great video.
I love poppers but yea, the inner layer of bacon always turns out soggy for me and I do not like that. Will give this great method a try, thanks Jess.
I do pig candy indirect on the grill I use a perforated aluminum pan for the bacon and also have an aluminum pan below filled with water. This not only makes cleanup easier, but it helps to prevent grease fires.
ingredients:
1 pound thin sliced bacon
2 cups brown sugar
½ cup corn syrup
3 Tablespoons Chipotle powder
Preheat the grill to medium, approx. 300ºF prepared for indirect grilling.
Grill for 1 hour indirect until the bacon has absorbed the brown sugar and is crispy.
Flip bacon about every 15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack until the bacon surface is dry. Keep in an airtight container in between layers of parchment paper.
Great job. Could probably use foil on the grate you used to cover the bacon. If it starts to blow off throw a small rock on the edge. Thanks for sharing 😁🇺🇸
Fantastic video! Keep it up! Would you like to be YouTube friends? :]
Yeah good job they look awesome
