  • Hi seonkyoung
Just wanted to know, do we discard the water we boiled the ribs in or we can use that as a soup stock?

  • ?Oops! Forgot to move the membrane on backside of ribs..just use paper towels to grip membrane.. sometimes will come off in 1 pull

  • I'm going to try this but I'm going to sous vide the ribs rather than boil them. Looks yummy ?

  • These look great, and I'm sure they taste the same, but something about boiling meat for that long feels like a sin. I feel like all I'll taste is the sauce. Is this the traditional method or some sort of hack that I need to be careful of?

  • I , for one would NEVER EVER '' BOIL " any kind of Meat ! Boiling Meat in water removes all of the nutrients and natural flavors of the meat ! Just marinade the meat in whatever choice of marinade you like and or prefer Overnight in the fridge . Then Smoke the meats on the grille of a BBQ Smoker Grille at low & slow temps till meat is tender and done and then baste or top with BBQ sauce of choice .

  • I wonder if SeonKyung knows that any burnt meat produces Sodium Nitrate, which is known seriously as molecule causing cancer. BBQ rips, burnt freely, openly is like offering poison to the public. Find other ways to cook without burning.

  • Tried 3 different ribs recipe and this one was the family’s favorite and the easiest to make!! I used a different Galbi marinade I got from an Asian market and it worked just fine! I didn’t boil it for as long and Also skipped the fridge part. Thank you! Making it for my baby’s 1st birthday party this Sunday!
