I made this lost CHEESEBURGER recipe and it blew my mind!

Taste HISTORY as I make this delicious cheeseburger which was born in 1912 in Memphis, TN. This burger is so good that my nephew said it’s the best burger he ever had. So, juicy, cheesy and one you have to give a try.

  • One word: ghee. I gotta try this with many of the ideas in this video, but add ghee. Carmelization? Fuggetaboutit! I made some ghee in an Instant Pot last week and kept it in the pot just a little longer than usual. It smells like caramel, hot caramel on apples at the county fair. I can't wait to try it on deep frying a burger. Thanks for the ideas, Guga Foods!

  • I prefer my burgers flame-broiled and not deep-fried. It looks delicious, but unless I'm walking the Appalachian Trail, it's a gut buster. The 1920's must have had a lot of hard labor. And add that with fries, Amanda, let's go to the store. I need some bigger pants.

  • The burger looks great, I think that you should save the oil until it is so deep that you can cook a Wagyu steak in it. Yeah! WAGYU!!!

  • Never in a million, billion years am I gonna go buy tubs, jugs, bags and wrappers of fat. Minus all the duck frying that I do (+/- Zero), it all accumulates FoC from the past lives of bacon and burgers. Save your renderings, folks.
