Grilled Beef Tri Tip Strips on the Weber Kettle~Grilling Steak~BBQ Finger Food Idea

In this easy cooking video, I slice a beef tri tip steak, or roast, into strips and cook it hot and fast on my Weber charcoal grill. These small pieces of beef steak cook fast and make great finger food. Meat and beer is always a great combination. • I wish I could get some tri tip here, I know if=n California it is all the rage, but I asked 2 butchers at two different stores and they said they don't utilize it and no one wants to buy it. Shame I loved it when I lived out in Cali. Great job Jim!

  • Looks goood! Glad you didn't tenderize your fingers during the pounding…that woulda hurt…just stating the bleeding obvious 😉 Seems you have some sort of gizmo in the Weber to help bank the coals. I may be thick as brick, so is it a brick or a actual accessory?

  • Jim, those little beef strips look truly enticing! A minute per side is even less than I cook my tiny fish. But your fire was roaring hot! I would love to sit down with some of those strips and a cold beer!
